ClickBank Profit Challenge Review 2026

ClickBank Profit Challenge Review 2026: Is This 3-Day Challenge Really Worth Joining?

If you've been looking into affiliate marketing for any length of time, you'll probably know the feeling.

You find a product. Grab your affiliate link. Send some traffic to it and… hope for the best.

Maybe you make a commission, maybe you don't. But even when somebody does buy, there's often one pretty big problem. The customer isn't really yours. You sent them to somebody else's website, and once they've left, that's pretty much it.

That's one of the reasons the ClickBank Profit Challenge caught my attention.

Rather than simply teaching you how to throw affiliate links around the internet, the idea here is to help you set up an actual affiliate funnel that collects leads onto your own email list first.

And that, in my opinion, makes things a little more interesting.

The challenge is hosted by John Thornhill and his son Alex, and it's being run as a live 3-day event on October 6th, 7th and 8th, 2026.

At the time I'm writing this, the General Admission ticket is advertised at just $9, although the price is scheduled to increase as the event gets closer.

So… is it worth grabbing a ticket?

Let's take a closer look.

What is the product?

The ClickBank Profit Challenge is basically a live, three-day affiliate marketing workshop.

But it's not really positioned as one of those courses where you buy access, watch 47 hours of video and then completely forget what lesson you're on.

We've all done that, right?

This is more implementation focused.

The idea is that John and Alex walk you through setting up the ClickBank Profit Club affiliate system step by step, so by the end of the event you should have something actually up and running.

The three days are split into different areas.

Day 1 is about deployment.

This is where you'll work on getting your done-for-you funnel activated and set up.

Day 2 focuses on traffic.

Because obviously having a beautiful funnel sitting quietly in a corner of the internet isn't going to do much on its own. You need people visiting it.

They cover both free and paid traffic approaches.

Day 3 moves into automation.

This is where the email follow-up side of things comes in, so rather than somebody visiting once and disappearing forever, you've got a chance to continue communicating with them afterwards.

General Admission also includes things like a Challenge Workbook, an Affiliate DNA Quiz, community access and replay access for 72 hours after the sessions.

At the time of writing, the $9 early-bird price is scheduled to rise to $19 on September 14th, $27 on September 21st and then $39 on September 28th.

So, yes, there is a little bit of urgency around the current price.

There are also optional upgrades available, including extra Q&A access and different ClickBank Profit Club membership levels.

Worth knowing before you join, because the $9 ticket isn't necessarily the only thing you'll ever be offered.

What does the product do?

This is where the ClickBank Profit Challenge starts to make more sense.

Instead of sending your traffic directly to somebody else's sales page, the system gives you your own funnel.

A visitor arrives, enters their details and joins your email list.

From there, they're taken through the ClickBank Profit Club funnel where they can see different offers and membership options.

If they purchase something through your funnel, there's the potential for you to earn affiliate commissions.

Simple concept.

But actually quite important.

I've always thought one of the frustrating things about basic affiliate marketing is that you can do all the work getting someone to click, then hand that visitor straight over to another company.

It's a bit like spending all afternoon fishing, finally catching something, then handing the fishing rod and the fish to the guy standing next to you.

Maybe not the world's best analogy. But you get the idea.

Building an email list means you're creating something you potentially still have access to tomorrow, next week or months from now.

The funnel itself is hosted through the Profit Club and is customized for the member.

According to the sales page, you get things including an opt-in page, lead magnets, webinar or video pages, integrations and automated email follow-up.

They also say initial setup can be completed very quickly, potentially in around five minutes.

Personally, if you're completely new to this stuff, I'd give yourself a little more breathing room than that.

Anyone who's ever watched somebody say “just click here” in a tutorial while staring blankly at their own screen will understand.

Still, the big advantage is that you aren't building the entire funnel from scratch.

That's likely to make this much less intimidating for beginners.

There's another point I really want to make though.

The funnel doesn't magically create traffic.

This matters.

You can have the best funnel in the world, beautifully designed, automated emails all sitting there waiting… but if nobody visits it, nothing happens.

The challenge does include traffic training, which is good, but your results will still depend on what you actually do afterwards.

How much traffic you generate.

Whether it's targeted.

Whether you follow the training.

Whether you test things.

And, yes, whether you keep going when the first 11 people who visit don't instantly buy something.

The sales page talks about the potential to generate commissions of $317 or more in certain situations, but that shouldn't be interpreted as guaranteed earnings.

The vendor also includes an earnings disclaimer and makes it clear that individual results vary.

That's normal, and honestly it's the sensible way to look at any make-money-online product.

You're buying tools and training.

Not a guaranteed paycheck.

Who created the product?

The ClickBank Profit Challenge is being run by John Thornhill and Alex Thornhill.

John Thornhill has been around the online marketing space for a long time and has a strong connection with ClickBank.

According to the Challenge sales page, he's been selling through ClickBank since 2012 and has achieved ClickBank Platinum status nine times, including six consecutive years.

The page also states that John has helped more than 17,000 people start online businesses and that his customers have generated more than $23 million in sales.

Those figures are claims made by the vendor on the sales page, so I'd treat them as vendor-provided information rather than independently audited numbers.

Still, John isn't somebody who's appeared out of nowhere last Tuesday with a rented Lamborghini and a mysterious “secret system.”

He's been teaching online marketing for years.

Alex is involved alongside him in delivering the Challenge, and I actually think the live format is one of the more appealing parts of the offer.

You're not just being handed a login and told, “good luck.”

There are live sessions, tasks to complete, demonstrations and access to the Challenge community.

For someone who's new to affiliate marketing, having that little bit of structure can make a surprising difference.

Sometimes the hardest part isn't understanding the individual pieces.

It's figuring out what you're supposed to do first.

Then second.

Then third.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the ClickBank Profit Challenge cost?

At the time of writing, General Admission is advertised for $9.

The sales page says the price will then increase in stages as the Challenge gets closer.

It's scheduled to rise to $19 on September 14th, $27 on September 21st and $39 on September 28th.

When is the ClickBank Profit Challenge?

The live Challenge is scheduled for:

October 6th, 2026

October 7th, 2026

October 8th, 2026

The sessions are due to begin at 3pm Eastern Time, which is listed as 8pm UK time, and each session is expected to last around one to two hours.

Is the ClickBank Profit Challenge suitable for beginners?

Yes.

In fact, beginners seem to be a major part of the target audience.

You don't need to already understand funnels, email marketing and advanced affiliate strategies before joining.

The whole point of the Challenge is to walk people through the setup process.

Of course, experienced affiliates may still get something from it too, especially if they don't currently build their own email lists.

Do I need a ClickBank account?

Yes, you'll need a ClickBank account to use the system properly.

The good news is that creating the necessary ClickBank account is free.

Do I need to create my own product?

No.

That's one of the attractions of the system.

You're working as an affiliate, so you don't need to spend weeks writing an ebook, filming a course or creating your own software before you can get started.

Do I get access to recordings?

Yes.

General Admission includes 72-hour replay access.

There's also an All-Access upgrade which includes lifetime replay access and additional extras.

If you know you're unlikely to make the live sessions, this is something I'd pay attention to.

Are there upsells?

Yes.

There are optional upgrades available.

These include paid ClickBank Profit Club membership options and additional Platinum Q&A access.

You don't need those upgrades simply to take part in the basic Challenge, but it's useful to know they're there before joining.

I much prefer knowing that beforehand rather than getting surprised by another offer five minutes after entering my card details.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes.

The Challenge ticket is advertised with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

As always, I'd recommend reading the current refund terms on the order page before purchasing, just so you know exactly what's covered.

Can I really make $317 commissions?

Potentially, but don't read that figure as a promise.

The sales material says the funnel can produce commissions of $317 or more per customer depending on the offer and membership arrangement.

That doesn't mean every person you send through the funnel suddenly hands you $317.

Sadly, affiliate marketing hasn't become quite that easy yet.

Your earnings will depend on your traffic, conversions, offers, membership level and quite a few other factors.

Some people may do very well.

Others may earn considerably less.

And some may earn nothing at all.

That's the reality of affiliate marketing, and it's better to understand that before joining.

Conclusion

So, what do I think about the ClickBank Profit Challenge?

For the current $9 entry price, I think there's quite a lot here for somebody who's genuinely interested in learning affiliate marketing.

The part I particularly like is the focus on building an email list.

Sending traffic directly to affiliate offers can work, but having your own list potentially gives you something much more valuable over time.

You're not just chasing one click and one possible commission.

You're building an audience you can communicate with again.

The done-for-you funnel should also remove one of the biggest stumbling blocks beginners face.

Technical setup.

Landing pages, integrations, email sequences, forms, hosting…

None of these things are impossible.

But when you're brand new, combining all of them can feel like someone emptied a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle onto the floor and removed the picture from the box.

Having much of that infrastructure already prepared makes getting started simpler.

Now, I wouldn't join expecting some magic button that produces $317 every time you press it.

That's not what this is.

You'll still need to generate traffic.

You'll still need to learn.

You'll probably make mistakes.

You may even stare at your stats one day wondering why absolutely nobody bought anything. That's part of it.

But if you're prepared to actually follow along and implement what you're being shown, the ClickBank Profit Challenge looks like a fairly low-cost way to get an affiliate funnel live while learning how the pieces fit together.

For $9, there's not a huge financial barrier to entry either.

So if you've been curious about ClickBank, want to start building your own email list, or you're tired of collecting random affiliate links without having a proper system behind them, this Challenge could be worth a closer look.

Just go into it with realistic expectations.

Treat it as a chance to build a real marketing asset and learn a system, rather than a lottery ticket.

That mindset will probably serve you much better in the long run.
